A:AnswerYes you can choose a water level. However, I have used the "Precise Fill" feature and it does a really great job on estimating the amount of water required - completely covers the load but does not overfill. Clothes come out clean without wasting water. But, as mentioned, you can select a water level and not use the "precise fill" feature.
A:AnswerHi Maxx56119- Speed Wash cycle is approximately 23 minutes (no options selected). 2nd rinse option can add approximately 14 minutes. Pair with GE® 7.2 cu. ft. Capacity aluminized alloy drum Electric Dryer GTD42EASJWW (Gas GTD42GASJWW). Thanks for viewing GE! Sue

A:AnswerHello. We appreciate you reaching out with these great questions! While the washer will match the initial water level used in the wash cycle if you use Deep Rinse, for our other rinse options the washer will use a spray rinse that helps save water and energy while still providing a quality rinse; the unit will drain the wash water then spray until the basket is approximately 1/3 full with rinse water. At the end of the rinse the water will drain again and the unit will go into the final spin cycle. The Speed Wash cycle time may vary depending on multiple factors, including soil level, but in general we would expect that cycle to last about 40 minutes without any extra options added. Regarding how long the wash part of the cycle would last, the speed and amount of time the unit will agitate will vary depending on the cycle you’ve selected. We hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, we are happy to offer assistance any time, here or over social media. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello - Thanks for reaching out! We hate to hear that your washer isn't spinning and we're happy to help. If the Spin light is flashing the washer cannot spin properly. After the wash cycle was complete, the items in the load were no longer evenly distributed enough in the tub. Manually redistribute the items in the load more evenly, then resume the cycle by pressing Start. Additional troubleshooting can be found on our website by searching "Top Load Washer - Does Not Spin". If the above doesn't resolve the issue, service may be needed. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737. We hope that this helps. -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerThank you for asking your question. We suggest selecting a Drain & spin cycle if your clothes are still wet. Next time try selecting 2nd rinse w/ extra spin. This will remove excess water from clothes. If the clothes seem too wet after the wash cycle is complete, the following are possible causes:
A "slow spin" may have been selected. A slow spin will eliminate less water than a fast spin.
Cold water can make clothes feel more wet. If this is not the case, service may be required.
Oversudsing from too much detergent may slow down the final spin cycle, causing a suds lock. Hope this helps. Geoff@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this top-load washer. We understand how important a warranty is, and can advise all our GE appliances have a one year limited manufacturer's warranty. During that year, the warranty would cover any part of the washer that fails due to a defect in workmanship or materials. Labor and related service to replace a defective part that qualifies would be done free of charge in the first year. The full warranty information (including what is not covered) for this model is available starting on page 27 of the use and care manual. If you wish to review the warranty, you can see the manual by going to our GE website, searching for the model number, selecting the washer and clicking the 'Owner Support' option on the product page. We hope this information is useful, and are happy to help if you have any other concerns or questions. All the best! -Sarah@GEA

I have used Best Buy delivery and install on everything from double ovens to TVs and have always been pleased .
A:AnswerHi Lisa - Thanks for choosing GE! The drain system allows water to flow through the basket and out the bottom of the tub pulling lint, hair, and small particles with the water. This should not be an issue with septic tanks because most lint, pet hair, etc. is biodegradable and septic tanks are designed to handle these fibers. A filter is not required. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask, we are also happy to help at GEAppliances.com! Sue
