  • QuestionWould this replace a built in ZE2160SF03?

    Asked by Amy.

    • Answer Hi Amy - It's great to hear from you and we certainly appreciate your loyalty! Model PVM9215SKSS is an Over-the-Range Microwave and not a replacement for built-in ZE2160SF03. The current model is Monogram 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Microwave Oven ZEB1227SLSS. This model is compatible with 27" Built-In Kit ZX2127SLSS and 30" Built-In Kit ZX2130SLSS (sold separately). • QuestionI have a GE Pacemaker JVM 2070sh001 Microwave ... What model is closest to this?

    Asked by Marvin.

    • Answer Hi Marvin - We certainly appreciate your loyalty! A comparable model is GE Profile™ 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven PVM9215SKSS. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy. NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. We are sorry model JVM2070sh001 is no longer working and apologize for any inconvenience the replacement process may cause. We're glad to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com for all your appliance needs. Enjoy! Sue

  • QuestionI have a GE Profile gas range. We will have 16 inches between the top of the range and the bottom of the microwave. Is this enough clearance? Do I need to be concerned with the heat from the range effecting the microwave?

    Asked by Mac.

    • Answer Hi Mac- Thanks for choosing our GE Profile Series! Yes, 16" is sufficient clearance. Over- the- range models must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet it attaches to. • QuestionWe're the H V TRANS FUSE LOCATED

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this over-the-range microwave. We are happy to help however we can, but for anything involving the electrical components of the microwave we would strongly recommend contacting our service department at 1-800-432-2737. A certified technician would be able to properly deal with any issues related to the fuse; we do not recommend you deal with the electronic components of the unit yourself. If you wish, you may be able to view a diagram of various components on our GE Parts website by searching with your model number. If you have any other questions or concerns, we are always glad to assist. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
