QuestionJust had this microwave installed. the delivery men said - good luck trying to figure it out. Never had a 'DIAL SELECTOR". We can't get the surface light to work???

- Answer bottom right corner of the menu pad is the button for "surface light". simply push the button for high or low light levels

QuestionI have a GE Profile gas range. We will have 16 inches between the top of the range and the bottom of the microwave. Is this enough clearance? Do I need to be concerned with the heat from the range effecting the microwave?

- Answer Hi Mac- Thanks for choosing our GE Profile Series! Yes, 16" is sufficient clearance. Over- the- range models must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet it attaches to. QuestionIf I choose not to use the over-the-range feature can I build this unit in to be used as a convection/microwave only

- Answer It might be little bigger than standard cabinet. Might not work inside cabinet. Again depends on depth of the cabinet.
