- Answer Unfortunately no. There is no way to dispense water without the pitcher however a replacement pitcher can be ordered from GE.

QuestionMy autofill water pitcher on this fridge has started not cutting off when it’s. Full; it’s randomly happened twice and water went all onto the floor. Is this something that can be fixed. I’ve had this fridge a week lol.

QuestionIf Freezer Door is fully pulled out, can Ice drop right at that moment from Icemaker above? Then, will the Ice fall "behind the drawers" and go to the bottom of the fridge? In that case, how can we take that Ice out & clean it? This is troubling me a bit.

- Answer Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, it is possible that just as you are opening the freezer drawer, any ice in the process of ejection into the bin could slide off the icemaker and fall behind the pull-out drawer. QuestionIn my older GE Profile refrigerator, the cool air from the freezer goes into the food compartment. It often freezes food placed near the "vent". Does this model have separate temperature controls?

- Answer The "cool chill" answer appears to be an obfuscated answer. I believe you are correct - the freezer air will flow into the refrigerator I've found more than one brand uses this cooling method and it makes it very difficult to prevent the freezing of refrigerator items if food is placed too close to the vent AND/OR touching the side of the refrigerator.

- Answer All GE Appliances refrigerators manufactured after 1994, will now have reciprocating compressors. The refrigerant used is 600R.

QuestionIf I don't want to use the water pitcher feature, can I still use that space or will there always be a pitcher sitting there and taking up that space? Not clear in the pictures. thanks

- Answer You can turn off the auto fill picture feature. It is located on the top head of the fridge which i think is good design as kids cannot mess with it. Once you turn it off you can remove the picture and not use it.
