  • Questiondoes it have a deep fill option ? Is the more water option same as deep fill. please explain about the more water option as to how it is useful ?

    Asked by SamAr9999.

    • Answer The More Water option adds approximately 3 gallons of water to the wash and rinse portions of the cycle. This is a nice option to use if you have an extra heavily soiled load or larger than normal load of laundry. -- If the option is selected before you start the wash cycle, the water will be added from the beginning of the wash cycle and later to the rinse cycle. If the option is selected during the wash portion, more water will be added at this point and later to the rinse. Likewise, if the More Water option is selected after the wash portion has completed, the washer will add more water to the rinse only. Lauren@GEAppliances

  • QuestionHow is this washer on removing pet hair?

    Asked by Mike.

    • Answer We recommend utilizing the Air Fluff (no heat) setting on your dryer to help with pet hair removal. Place the items covered with pet hair in the dryer first for a 10-minute no-heat Air Fluff cycle, then wash and dry the items as usual. The Air Fluff cycle will remove a lot of the hair, and it will loosen up the remaining hair for better removal in the washer. -Vikki@GEAppliances

  • QuestionI choose to wash in cold water but when I take it out after it's done spinning, the clothes are warm. Why?

    Asked by ayevee.

    • Answer We're happy to assist you. We recommend checking to be sure the fill hoses on the back of the washer are connected properly and not reversed (cold-cold, etc.). Also, be aware, in the heat of the summer as the ground heats up, so does the water. Therefore, your clothes may feel warmer at the end of the cycle. Finally, the high-speed spin cycle on this unit may warm the clothes slightly. If you continue to have issues, please call our GE Appliances team of experts at Bodewell at 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET to have your washer evaluated and repaired as needed. -Vikki@GEAppliances
