• A:Answer This is in fact NOT and induction range as stated in the specs on bestbuy.com. After driving an hour to pick up the oven and installing we turned on the range and found out it is a radiant cooktop. I have left feedback. We are returning. Very frustrating!!!!

Our apologies to learn that you’re experiencing your racks getting stuck - we certainly understand how frustrating that is and why you’d like some clarification on that. You may find that your oven racks become difficult to slide in and out, especially after a self-clean cycle. To help your Flat Rack slide more easily, put a small amount of vegetable oil on a soft cloth or paper towel and rub the vegetable oil onto the left and right edge of the racks, ensuring they are lightly coated. Make sure to only use vegetable oil, as using other cooking oils (olive oil, coconut oil, peanut oil, etcetera) will cause a discoloring or a rust like color residue on the racks and oven cavity sides. -- We hope this helps and if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out anytime. Q: QuestionDoes this oven come with the temp probe? This model is listed as it being included from other vendors, and it is clearly included based upon the owner's manual, but it is not listed on the specs here at Best Buy. What is up with that?

• A:Answer Yes, it does come with the temperature probe. I bought it and it does not come with one. So what I have to do is register the stove, and call the GE customer service, and tell them I don’t have the one that supposed to come with it. They mailed me the new one in about two weeks. I hope that will help.

Q: QuestionI just received this range, but there's no power cord. In the product specifications it says power cord is included, however, after reading some Q&As here I am assuming it doesn't come with a cord and it must be purchased separately. Which is correct?

This range requires a UL listed 40 AMP 4-Wire Cord 4’ long or 3-Wire Cord 4’ long, sold separately. • A:Answer This is not an induction range, it is a radiant heat range which, in my opinion, is much butter. You can use almost any kind of fry pans, pots, etc. on this range whereas only certain cookware works on an induction range. This description should be corrected to reflect that this range is RADIANT HEAT as opposed to INDUCTION.

Over-the-Range Microwaves are very popular for ventilation and the PVM9179SRSS would pair well with this range. For a more designer look, the PV970NSS Wall-Mount style hood would look fantastic!
