- Answer Chromecast requires a connection to a network so if you don't have WiFi it's not going to work. The only possible exception to this would be if you decided to use your phone as a hotspot and I haven't tried that with Chromecast. Most people would find that if they tried this they would go Way Beyond any data caps that you might have purchased. even with unlimited plans it will slow your access above a certain number of megabytes.

- Answer There should be a single light near the power connection to the Chromecast. This turns on when the power is connected.

- Answer Please make sure to select the Source as "Chrome Cast" to view the TV in full size. Please use your remote to change the source to "ChromeCast"

QuestionI hooked up Chromecast to the HDMI input but when I cast YouTube to the tv, I only get sound thru the tv speakers & not through the stereo speakers. Do I need to get Chromecast audio also to plug into the stereo speakers & cast YouTube to both C-casts?

QuestionIs this device suppose to voice operate your smart tv using Google Home Assistant. Some websites I've read said that Chromecast is what is needed in order for your Google Home Assistant to operate your smart TV but I have yet to figure out how.

- Answer Hello, I have Google Home and I also bought Chromecast to make a perfect combination. One of the advantages of Google home is the entertainment content, such as Youtube, that you can say to your Google Home to play something on TV from Youtube, this is possible because Google home knows that you have a Chromecast installed in your TV. Quite simple installation and you can manage everything from your smartphone using the Google Home app.

QuestionMy wifi does not provide enough power to stream movies on VUDO. They start out okay, but start cutting out. I'm trying to watch in HDX; but even cuts out at lower level. Is there anyway I can fix this? My wifi provides enough power for Fire TV.

- Answer In the latest 4k chromecast version you can attach network cable, this will resolve your lag issue.
