- Answer "A Google spokesperson has confirmed the Verizon Pixel 2 is unlocked and compatible with all major networks, so using it on AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or another carrier isn't a problem. QuestionI think I'm the 4th person to ask the very same question on this forum - Is this phone unlocked and available to networks across the world, and in Pakistan in particular? Others have asked the same and some said it's locked to Verizon, other said no.

- Answer The answer to your question by CommunityAnswer is WRONG. The Verizon Pixel 2 XL is not locked to Verizon. The Verizon version does have a locked bootloader, but that doesn't stop you from using it on another network. CommunityAnswer user, you need to do better research before posting. Nothing worse than posting absolutely incorrect information.

- Answer Google sends out the security updates for the device. Not Verizon. The Pixel 2 XL is unlocked and can work with any carrier. Even the Verizon variant.

- Answer The phone works with most other carriers, but Google made a deal with Verizon so only they could sell the phones in-store. It would probably work with your plan, just look up your carrier and the phone to see if it is supported.

- Answer There is almost no chance asking the question again will help you. All documents seem to indicate they don't make a locked version. Therefore it cannot be unlocked. Just return it if it is locked.

- Answer The phones were only released a few months ago. I don't think they would replace the battery if it wasn't broken. Most refurbished phones are either screen replacements or just returned that can't be sold as new.
