- Answer There would need to be an app in the app store for it and the TWC TV app in the app store does NOT currently support me installing it on the Nexus Player.

QuestionCan I stream movies from my home computer network.I have hundreds of movies downloaded on my computer hard drive. I want to know f I can stream from my network and if the unit will stream them, will it play any video format?

- Answer I have a Windows Media Center Server with movies plus live tv using tuner cards. I installed the Kodi (formerly XBMC) app on the Nexus Player and after configuring the network shares properly it can view and stream my entire movie library and pass through the surround sound to my AV receiver just fine. The Kodi app is great for this, but does take some familiarity with setting up the network shares. This works like a charm, though.

- Answer Vudu is not compatible with the Nexus Player. Look into Kodi.

Questionwant to get rid of cable & get at least local channels on tv?For some reason we can't get antenna to work on our Smart TV, looking for way to stream live broadcasting TV stations from PC to TV, will this work? I am so confused doing all the research online. I want at least main channels such as CBS, NBC, etc. Thank you

- Answer Not really. You can add an app like Hulu or Netflix and watch some network content but not live and not local.

QuestionCan you install Xfinity TV Go app?Do you know if you can install & watch the Xfinity TV GO app on this device? Currently the Xfinity TV GO doesn't support Casting to the Chromecast, but was wondering if installed on this device I could still watch Xfinity content on a HD TV that doesn't have set top box hooked up to it.

- Answer I haven't seen the app on the app store list, so not out of the box. You could sideload the app (Google it to find out more) or root the device and install pure android rom and install the app at that point but this is of course unsupported.
