- Answer It's a smart tv os that enables you to stream thousands of media platforms and also many other apps on your tv, without use of an hdmi cable.

QuestionDoes this tv come with a regular remote where you can hit actual numbers to find the station you want? One reply says yes another says no. We do not want remote that is only a roku remote and have to scan thru all the stations to find the one we want.

- Answer Deb, The Hisense H4 is a ROKU based TV, and the Roku remote is a simple and clean remote without a numeric keypad. However, if you use the feature rich ROKU app on your phone, you can control the TV and have access to a virtual keyboard to dial in to the channel of your choice, and that keyboard comes in handy when searching titles. It has a ton of other great features, too!

QuestionDo I need to buy an hd antenna w this tv or is it built in?

- Answer They are not built in. An external HD Antenna is needed only if you want to watch local over the air broadcasts, as long as they are not too far away. If you have a home Wifi router the best option is to use the Smart TV online.

- Answer This Roku TV does not have a keyboard to select broadcast channels - but you can access some news channels - no channel up and down - you scroll through the dialogue picture boxes of shows available and press 'OK' to watch - really simple to use.

QuestionHow long does this TV last and does the remote have a sleep function?

- Answer I love the Hisense brand, I actually have (2) 40 inch flat screens. My most recent purchase has a sleep function in the app, but not on the remote. You can only set that up after you register the device with ROKU from your phone or computer. Overall for the price, I think Hisense is the best brand on the market today. Again you cant not operate the TV until you register the device with ROKU. Make sure you have access to your email when you set it up. Thanks.

Press the house icon on the remote to go to the Home screen, and then navigate to Settings > TV picture settings. You can adjust the overall TV picture settings from the Settings screen.
