A:AnswerI don’t think so. I have an aprilair as well and it has its own control mounted to the furnace. That control has humidity sensors on it and detects the water level in the unit. That system runs independently of the system and activates as needed. The thermostat will control your system like any other thermostat but will added functionality of controlling it from anywhere.
A:AnswerNot sure but on my old Honeywel & this new one which were the same pretty much, just take a pix of old wiring & it hooks up in 10min especially if you are not dealing with a heat pump.

A:AnswerHi Sean, to determine compatibility we will need to know more about the wiring of your previous thermostat. This thermostat works with most 24-volt heating and cooling systems with standard wiring. This thermostat will require a common (C) wire.
