- Answer It uses most of a 32 ounce bottle for an area about 15 x 20 to clean a fairly dirty carpet. It appears that the water fills the whole tank, but the solution tank is actually a separate tank; the water surrounds it.

QuestionWhat is the difference between the Hoover FH50251 and the FH50258

- Answer I contacted Hoover customer support with this same question and was told that both the models are exactly the same, but the FH50258 (PLUS) version just comes with more attachments to hook up to the cleaner. If the PLUS version is cheaper than the standard version, then I would 100% go with the cheaper cleaner!
