A:AnswerHi Bell,
If you are experiencing loss of suction, we recommend you turn off your SmartWash and empty the Dirty Water Tank. Ensure the Nozzle Cover is attached properly and in the locked position, then check that the Dirty Water Tank is attached properly. Lastly, clear the Debris Filter and rinse it. Please give us a call at 800.944.9200 if you have additional questions. Thank you!

A:AnswerMy husband used a small bamboo skewer to dislodge the remaining debris and then rinsed the nozzle again. I think a small screwdriver would also work since most of the buildup (for us, at least) was right at the lower edge of the nozzle.
A:AnswerI have no problems with mine and I have been used it for 4 weeks in a row. You can take it to the Geek Squad, probably is a manufacturer issue with any of the sensors.
A:AnswerThere is a "Dry Only" button on top next to the handle pole. Press it and see if your SmartWash+ begins to wash again. The button is there to assist drying after cleaning and will not wash when engaged. If your SmartWash+ continues to have issues, please contact us at https://www.hoover.com/contactus/. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
A:AnswerWhen I did my carpet for the first time I just push my cleaner forward and my wash light came on and than when I pull it back my dry light came on and this was the process through out the whole cleaning process than when I was done I hit the dry only button to dry carpet even more
A:AnswerMake sure that your attachment tool is properly sealed. Mine did this while the tool was attached when I picked up my machine. Turn it off before moving it

A:AnswerMy brushes spin when reclined but not touching the carpet. Once it is lowered to the carpet it makes a nasty screeching sound. It is like the brushes don't have enough power to spin on the carpet.
A:AnswerI’m still trying to figure out how to take the thing apart to get to the same belt you were talking about because mine made a crazy noise then they stopped spinning on their own. I just got it on Christmas (2 months ago) & I’m already having issues with it. Getting disappointed that I bought this one.
