QuestionIs it a product of China or USA?

- Answer HP calculators are either made in China or the Philippines. There are two factories making them in China. The ones coming out of the CNY factory are terrible. These are the first three letters on the serial number. The ones out of the other factory (CNA I believe) are ok, but try to find one made in the Philippines; they are of much higher quality, although still not as good as the older ones made in the USA.

- Answer Here how you do this on an HP 12C Calculator Changing the Display from a Comma to a Decimal Point 1)Turn off the calculator. 2)Hold down the decimal point. 3)Continue to hold the decimal point key, while turning on the calculator.

QuestionTo purchase a new HP 12C calculator, which is the most reliable, trouble free, durable model. I bought one of the original models long time ago. Even though it is a little worn out - it is still working very reliably. The 25th Anniversary model sucks.

QuestionMy HP Financial Calculator 12C I've had for 41 years. Still original batteries. The problem is the "enter" key isn't working consistently. I think the contact is worn or something like that. do you think it is repairable?

- Answer Hi James. Have you tried to reset the calculator? You might try this first: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bpia5202 I'm afraid that it is unlikely to find a repair shop for this product, and purchasing a new one would probably be the most cost effective choice. - Answer Push the home button twice and all of the open apps will be displayed. You can then slide the hp12c app off the screen, which turns it off.

- Answer It does not have alpha characters. It can be used for Real Estate test, but I would recommend the easier to use Texas Instruments BA II Plus for about the same price.
