The battery life of the Omen 16-xf0033dx using mobile settings is indicated as up to 8 hours. * Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 150 nits brightness, system audio level at 17% as image default, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached or through speaker (if no audio jack port), wireless on but not connected.

QuestionI just bought this laptop today and when I got home and pulg it in nothing happen it made a noise and the fans starting like if it was going to turn on but it didn't and the screen stays black please helpp???

- Answer battery life ranges if you play games it will last ~2 hours, if you're only using it to browse the web, media, etc. I find that it averages around ~5-6 hrs. This is more of a desktop replacement who also want the portability options.
