A:AnswerHello. Thanks for your question. No. The all in one computer plugs into the power outlet. An HP all in one computer has combined the monitor and computer tower into one with speakers, microphone, and webcam built-in. The only things you would need to do is to plug in are the keyboard, mouse, and power cord.
A:AnswerThere is no dongle in the box, not needed for this PC. That spot in the box will always be empty. You do not need to plug anything in for the mouse / keyboard. I just put batteries in both keyboard and mouse (turned mouse on) and booted up the computer. Everything connected. If it's like other All-in-one's I've taken apart, the 2.4ghz dongle is actually inside the PC. It's not Bluetooth.
If you're still having problems, try taking out the batteries and re-inserting them after the PC boots. Make sure the flat end of the battery is at the spring end of the compartment. Try different batteries if you haven't. When I turn on the mouse there is a white indicator on the bottom that lights up for a few seconds - at least you can tell you have power then. No indicators on the keyboard though.

A:AnswerThere is no option for a built-in DVD/CD with this model. This is an all-in-one computer, so the brains of the computer are in the screen. You can pick up an affordable slim DVD/CD drive that just plugs into the USB. You could even use velcro and mount it to the back of the screen- so it did not take up any physical real estate on your desk.
This is a great powerful touch-screen all-in-one computer with 16GB RAM and simple, out-of-the-box hook-up, though.
If the built-in DVD is a make or break, you may want to look at a traditional model with a CPU tower and separate monitor.
A:AnswerThank you for the question. The connect button is on the bottom (reverse) of the keyboard. Press and hold the Connect button on the bottom of the keyboard for 3 seconds.

A:AnswerThe HDMI port on the computer meets the 1.4 standard. I know that the 2.0 and 2.1 standards are backwards compatible with 1.4 but I don't know that the Xbox will work properly when connected to a 1.4 display. You'd need to talk to the Xbox support team to tell you for sure.
A:AnswerYes there is a headphone jack on the right lower side of the monitor above a USB port. I have 3 external speakers that I was using with a laptop that I plugged in and it worked great. I chose to not use them though as the included internal speakers are more than adequate for my needs.
A:AnswerHello, this all in one comes preinstalled with Windows 11, which is an upgraded Windows 10. There is no way to roll this back to Windows 10 because it was a clean installation of Windows 11. Windows 10 was not on the device at any time. Thank you for being an HP customer!
