A:AnswerAs it states in the Features section of the Specifications, Defrost Type Manual. In the What's included part of Overview. Comes with ice shovel.
I've had this for a couple months and just saw some ice forming inside. Nothing severe and I would think it depends on how much humidity is in your
location and how often you access the contents as to how much and how fast it accumulates.
A:AnswerI have my freezer in a covered, screened patio and it works just fine. Keep it out of direct sunlight. It should also be protected from weather in general.
A:AnswerYou know I would like to know the answer to this too because I have been watching the Best buy website for the better part of 6 or 7 months and it just tells me it is unavailable to deliver to my area have even been to several of the Best buys within a 50 mi radius and the biggest they ever have is the 5 cu ft. they really should remove items from their website that is not available in your area based on your area code instead of making me go through all the steps and then tell me it's unavailable to deliver once I get at the end of checkout..
A:AnswerPersonally I would contact insignia customer support diectly but it also wouldn't hurt to contact Best buy first. But in my experience Best buy support is never any help and they're going to direct you to insignia anyway.
just follow their site instructions and you should be able to find the part you need and it should be covered under warranty if it is a new chest freezer.
A:AnswerHi! We recommend that you make sure that the ambient temperature of the area where you will set your unit is greater than 55° F (13° C). Direct sunlight
may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extremely cold temperatures may also prevent your freezer from performing correctly. Avoid locating your freezer in moist areas. For more information, please check the "Finding a suitable location" section on the user manual available on our website.
