- Answer No this is a back facing sub, you can lay the sub wherever however, it is bluetooth. No bigger than a gallon of milk (about equal in size)

QuestionThe sound does not sync up with the tv (sound is delayed to lips on tv video) what are the settings to correct this? I have to keep switching it on and off every 4 minutes to resync.

QuestionCan I pair this to a Fire Stick wirelessly?

- Answer I don’t think so but what you can do is connect your FireStick to your TV’s HDMI input and use an optical cable (not included with soundbar) to connect your TV to the soundbar. It will only output PCM/Stereo - not Dolby Digital.

QuestionHow do I adjust the subwoofer volume? Insignia replies with press the bass button then use the volume button, but that doesn't work. If I can't adjust it, I'm returning it.

QuestionI recently purchased the insignia 2.1 soundbar and subwoofer 3 weeks ago and subwoofer is not working . Chat with an online agent and the only thing that was recommend was to take the sub to geek squad with no set price to pay to fix or replacement.

QuestionIs there a maximum operating temperature for the soundbar? I mounted it under the fireplace mantel where it can get hot.

- Answer Hi Jim, Your soundbar’s cabinet is made out of plastic and is therefore sensitive to extreme temperatures and humidity. Do not put it in locations subject to direct sunlight or in humid places, such as near an air conditioner, humidifier,bathroom, or kitchen. • Please do not put water or other liquids close to your soundbar. If liquid is spilled on top of your soundbar, it may be damaged. • Your soundbar should be placed on a sturdy, flat surface that is free from vibration, or mounted on a wall. Do not put your soundbar on an uneven or unstable surface, where it may fall and cause damage. Renee, Insignia Support

QuestionI have this Insignia 2.1 soundbar connected to an Insignia Fire TV (55"). I have paired the tv remote to the bar and it tests fine during setup (i.e. power on, power off, vol up vol dn). After paring done, the tv remote will not turn on the soundbar.

- Answer Log on to Amazon. In Search bar, type in the full model number of the soundbar, followed by the word Remote. I tried this and a remote came up identical to the one that came with the soundbar.

QuestionMy Panasonic tv does not have PCM in the Audio setting does anyone have ideas where it may be? It’s about a 10 year old 65’ I have a sound bar hooked up to it using optical cable it’s like the tv doesn’t recognize the sound bar no 3.5 audio jack either

- Answer The sound system comes with an original subwoofer. It’s designed to handle the power of one. I don’t believe you are able to connect an additional woofer. Nor do I recommend installing a second one as it can overload the system and ruin it. Hope this helps!
