QuestionI have the NS AC07PWH1. Does the lower filter come out to clean? I got the top one out ok

- Answer Yes. You can disassemble the lower filter with a screwdriver. Insert the filter into the 4 slots toward the bottom direction at the back side and toward the front direction at the side, make sure filter aligned well, and then tighten with screw.

Questionis it just me or why doesn't this come with a little metal fence that attaches to the outside? so animals do not come into the tubing from the outside? i just realized everyone in my neighborhood with a portable a/c sticking out has a black metal bracket

QuestionSometimes my AC will stop blowing air and all the lights on top will start flashing and beeping. They flash and beep 4 times, in a continuous cycle, with a one second pause in between cycles. Why is this happening? Theres no specific error code shown.

- Answer It comes with a manufacturers warranty. Since it's a best buy product it was easy to file a claim. When mine broke I took it back to the store and they replaced it.

QuestionFor storing your AC the manual states for step 1 "Run the fan for 12 hours, then empty the drain tray". Step 2 says "Run your air conditioner in fan mode for 12 hours in a warm room to dry it and prevent mold". Is there a difference, or just extra drying

- Answer It looks like you just run it in fan mode to dry out the interior of the unit after you empty the drain tray. I guess it is to keep any interior metal parts from rusting from any water sitting in the unit over time.
