A:AnswerYes, you can hook up your DirecTV box into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV or download the DIRECTV STREAMING App on this TV. You need a free Amazon account to download apps. There is no charge for a free Amazon account.
A:AnswerThe answer posted by Customer Service does not work for this tv. Pressing the button with the 3 lines does nothing. Pressing the button with an asterik or star does bring up a few selections; the only possible one being "Picture" and when that is selected only provides the option to switch from Standard to Natural to Vivid, etc. Pressing the Home button takes the tv out of the movie back to the home screen. Arrowing over to the Settings button yields a Display & Sounds option which then yields either Picture Settings or Display Settings both of which only yield the option to switch inputs from HDMI1 to HDMI2 etc. There appears to be a programming/software issue with the QLED fire tv.
A:AnswerAbout average. Looks best head on but the side can lose a slight amount of brightness. It's subtle doesn't scream. Most noticeable if you're watching a news show of something similar.
A:AnswerUse the hdmi port labeled arc on both the tv and the sound system.
If changing audio to arc or optical the corresponding setting also has to be set in the televisions sound settings.
(arc is recommended so sound and power can be controlled through just one remote)
A:AnswerThe TV complies with the regulations in United State (include California prop 65), and all TV material are controlled by ISO qualified manufacturers.
A:AnswerSince you didn't answer my question I'll say it this way... if my sleep timer is set to 240 minutes, the TV turns off after 10 minutes. If the sleep timer is off, my TV turns off after 10 minutes. The TV turns off when there is no activity on the screen - that means a show is paused or it's on a menu. Any ideas? Is there anyway to stop this?
