Q: QuestionSomeone in the Q&A said they don't recommend this freezer be kept in the garage. Can someone explain why? That's where we plan on keeping ours. Thanks!

• A:Answer Hello EH, We recommend to always locate appliances such as the Chest Freezer in a suitable location where the room temperature is average to prevent any damage or malfunctions with your unit. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Whereas extremely cold temperatures may also prevent the freezer from performing properly. • A:Answer I don’t know what the lowest recommended temp is off the top of my head, but mine is placed in an unheated garage. It can get down to 20 and 30 degrees outside. I haven’t had any issues with that or anything else with this freezer. We simply plugged it in when it arrived and it’s been forgotten about until we go out there for something. It’s been very reliable

Q: Questionfrostless?

• A:Answer No, this freezer is not frostless. I have had for less than a month. I noticed light frost, but nothing major. It is not a self - defrosting freezer. I believe you will need to defrost it when necessary I did find some freezer pads on Amazon that cut down frost build-up ( they are light blue)

Q: QuestionWhat are the interior dimensions of this freezer? I plan on turning this into a home brew keezer and need these dimensions to understand how many 5 gallon kegs will fit without adding a collar.

• A:Answer The full depth bottom is 16.6" x 20.5". I am doing the exact same thing and it fits 4 Cornelius kegs with almost no gaps, and there's room on the shelf section for the CO2 cylinder. This freezer is the perfect size for an economical 4-keg homemade kegerator, it's incredible :)
