A:AnswerI did. but you should not plug it in and turn it on until it has been in its location for a while. I think the manual mentioned this, because you may jostle it around while moving it. I put it in my basement and waited a day before turning it on. it has been running for a few weeks now, no issues
A:AnswerThe freezer baskets are pretty much universal between different brands. I purchased another one for my Insignia from Sears Parts Direct. It is the same for the Kenmore 7.0.
A:AnswerI believe the power indicator should remain illuminated at all times as long as power is supplied to the freezer. Please do it hold me to this, but I am oretty sure my light is always on lol
As for the manual, I had one in the box, but here is a link (double check the model number to be certain, but aside from size, they all seem pretty basic and pretty much the same). Hopefully BB allows the link.

A:AnswerOur freezer models do not have the ability to lock closed. While the motor is running there may just be increased suction making it harder to open.
A:AnswerI'm not sure what you mean by "garage ready" but my freezer came out of the box ready to plug in and use. I let it sit for a few hours while plugged in so that it would be cold when i moved frozen items into it, but that's all I had to do to get my unit ready for use.
Good luck with it!
A:AnswerI found powder-coated steel baskets from Target (Decorative Baskets Steel White Square - Room Essentials) that are 11" x 11" x 10.5". You can fit about 6 of them in there, but I only bought 3 to start. My mother in law uses plastic bins, but they crack eventually.
