A:AnswerI purchased a insignia box a couple weeks ago because my cable provider was down 2 days in a row. The box pulls a signal from a cheap antenna in the attic (photo shown). I live in the country and I’m getting 16 channels over 50 miles away. The picture quality on HD channels is better than cable because the cable providers have to compress the signal. Try unplugging the device also unplug the power supply wait 5 minutes plug back in and rescan. You will need an antenna of some sort
A:AnswerThe Insignia NS-DXA3 is *not* compatible with the channel changing function of TiVo Series 2 DVR. The NS-DXA3 can deliver A/V signal to TiVo Series 2 via RCA jacks (composite video), but you will need to manually change the channel using the NS-DXA3 buttons/remote. (The original NS-DXA1 (2008) could be controlled by TiVo Series 2.)
A:AnswerHello jeremysw7, you can use it the way you like as long as the coaxial that provides the signal is plugged into the converter box, otherwise you will need an antenna to get an antenna. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
