- Answer Hi, Puzzled. Thank you so much for addressing your concern with regards to our Insignia™ - Ice Maker Kit for Select Insignia 18 Cu. Ft. Refrigerators - White. It is really frustrating that you have waited for 24 hours for the ice maker to work, but instead of making ice it is only dumping water. Usually, when the ice maker kit has been properly installed it will be making ice. Some underlying factors that cause this, is that the freezer temperature is too high, so you need to adjust it, or there may be something mechanically wrong with the ice maker itself. QuestionWas working properly until a couple of weeks ago. The ice is now regularly one huge melted and refrozen block. I hear the water run in cycles and when I pull the tray out, there’s water in the bottom. Please help! The water line itself is not leaking.

Use mild detergent in warm water to clean the ice storage box, then rinse and dry it then try to use it again. QuestionThe metal shut off wand is plastic and always stays in the off or up position. How can I get it to lower to the on position so it makes ice? There isn’t anything in the directions plus the directions say it should be metal.

- Answer Same question. On/off switch makes no difference. Don't see a metal wire signal arm and afraid to force the plastic signal arm.

QuestionWhen is the Ice Maker Kit (NS-ICEF2W2) for bottom freezer going to be available? It just says "unavailable nearby" on your website and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get any information from your support phone number (1-877-467-4289).

- Answer NS-ICEF2W2 is the same item I just received and installed into my top freezer. I beleive they are the same for top and bottom snd come with parts needed for both options. I had to go to the service desk to order it and he had to search through several data bases to find it available.
