Q: QuestionCan you hook up a water line to it?

• A:Answer No, you cannot. You pour water into a ‘bucket’ in the device and it generates the ice from that water. If you switch the device off, the ice melts and is ‘recycled’ I would recommend changing the water out on a regular basis. For what it is, it works fantastic.

• A:Answer You need to try and clean it by descaling it if you have not cleaned the machine. Then after doing this reset it. You should unplug it and leave it off for a few seconds then turn the light on to recycle it. I would also make sure the line is not stopped up with mineral deposits.
