Q: QuestionHi. I have a roomba i7. It is dead. Can I buy any other i7 roomba series to use with the clean base? Wich one is compatible with braava?

Otherwise, you can use another I7 with the same Clean Base, but the Braava jet m6 has a separate base.

Q: QuestionTwo potential issues I need to ask about. Will the camera see upholstered couches and not spray the upholstery and will it recognize a floor power strip.and not spray an electric power strip?

• A:Answer It doesn't use the camera for this, but it will be fine. The Mop moves forward to determine that there are no obstructions (couch, power strip, etc.) then backs up and sprays the clear area. It only sprays after it has gone over a clear surface

Q: QuestionDoes the Braava jet M6 cross carpet to clean bathroom? Ie we have carpet in hall between kitchen and bathrooms.

• A:Answer It wouldn’t go over carpet because it has no way to cover the mop it just avoids it if you have room to make a part where’s its hard wood you can get it to go on the side but it won’t ever go on carpet

Q: QuestionI have regular tile floor, I keep getting error message that I need to realign the mop due not being on solid group. doesn't make sense. Because its all tile, only thing is when I go check on the robot its in between two tile. Is it because of the grout?

• A:Answer Yes! Bona brand hard-floor cleaning solution is perfectly safe to use with the Braava jet m6, and will not void the warranty. Just make sure to follow the recommended mixture instructions (i.e. filling the tank with how many parts solution vs. how many parts water), and also rinse the tank out about once every two weeks at least to avoid residue build-up or streaks.

Q: QuestionCan I map the house and have it only clean certain areas on a schedule

• A:Answer Yes. This is one of my favorite features about this mop. It will map the house and create virtual barriers where it thinks each room stops. If it isn’t 100% accurate, you can move the barriers and then give each room a name so that if you only want a certain area mopped, you can select that room.

• A:Answer Distilled is better It leaves less tire tracks after the robot is done moppin but if you haven't purchased the M6 yet i would absolutely stay when 100% away from it until I Robot can get their act together with their most recent and the glac for updates leaving the robots pretty much useless for whoever got the bad updates and they will not get back to you If they do they will promise to roll you back to the previous update and they won't go with robo rock S6 Max or another brand After spending so much money on the I 7 plus rumba and the Bravo M6 just a month and a 1/2 ago my M6 map is pretty much useless because of the newest update it makes my mom take forever to clean and it doesn't clean properly the robot act like it's drunk

• A:Answer The Braava series is just for mopping or dry dusting on sealed hard floor surfaces. There are many Roomba models to choose from based on your vacuuming needs. You can also pair certain Roomba models (Roomba 960, i7, s9) with the Braava m6 so your Roomba and Braava can communicate with each other. This means you can schedule the Roomba to vacuum and the Braava m6 will automatically mop when the Roomba is done.

Q: QuestionI already have the irobot Roomba i7 . If i purchase the Braava m6, does it have to go back through the annoyingly tedious process of building a map of your home, or will it just use the already saved home map created by the Roomba?

• A:Answer The maximum height of a threshold that all Roomba models can transition over, when performing a cleaning cycle, is ⅝ in (1.6 cm). So if the threshold is higher than that, the robot may get stuck.
