• A:Answer Hello Lakecrazey, Yes, the robot can be operated without a smart phone by initiating a cleaning mission with the "Clean" button. The robot will be able to internally map the enviorement and initiate missions, but you would be missing on a lot of useful features from the iRobot Home App.

Please also note that using a device outside the country it was purchased from will void its warranty.
