My hardwood floors are super sensitive to scratches and dents, and I've never had the Roomba scratch them. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Downstairs on the hardwood floors I only empty the Roomba after it is finished. Upstairs I empty it hallway through its cleaning cycle. It really depends on how often you run the Roomba and how much your pets shed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My husband works in the oilfield and is always tracking in dirt and little pebbles. I've never had a problem with a rock getting stuck and scratching the floor. It always sweeps them right up!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using my iroonba for about 8 months and I have not seen this happen. I will say that I do not agave a rocky yard but I use this on my hardwood floors and tile and no problems at all. I let it clean about 1400 sq ft then empty it. Of course this depends on how much debris there is to pick up. So easy to empty and clean. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it on my hardwood and tile floors and have had no problems with small pieces scratching them. If a pebble was large I guess it could get stuck and scratch but small sizes just get sucked up. Can't give you a square footage. It would depend on how much dirt is on the floor that fills up the bin.
