QuestionWill both monitors display 4K resolution with both plugged in? I've seen some manual material that suggest it will display 4K if only 1 monitor plugged. If a second monitor is plugged in, the second monitor will display 2K resolution.

- Answer Unfortunately, with this device you will only be able to get one 4K display, and that is if you only have one display connected to this device (specifically the 4K HDMI port.)

QuestionWhen I connect it to my laptop and to monitors why the colors (e.g. excel spreadsheet fonts and coloring) are so different than the actual one on my laptop’s screen? My monitors Lenovo Q24i-1L 23.8" IPS LED FHD FreeSync. I am not sure what the problem is

- Answer I checked the display setting, but it looked okay. It happened only when I used the cable to connect with the laptop and monitors, when I connect HDMI directly to my monitor, the colors look fine. Or Maybe the cable doesn’t work with the monitors.

QuestionI use this device but my wireless mouse does not work when I connect it to my laptop. I have tried using a wired mouse and that is the only mouse that works. What could be the issue?

- Answer Try disconnecting the j5create adapter and reconnect your wireless mouse to see if it works. If it works, you may be experiencing RFI. Wireless interference from USB 3.0 devices, such as external HDD and other USD 3.0 removable media.

QuestionIs downloading the driver required to use this adapter? I was hoping to use this to connect my work laptop to 2 monitors at home, however I do not have the permission to download the driver. Also, would I be able to use a USB to USB-C adapter with this?

- Answer Yes, this will work with a 2012 MacBook Pro as long as you are on MacOS 10.8 - 10.13.3 or 10.14 and later. It offers both mirror and extended modes.
