- Answer No, the USB-C Multi Adapter does not support a capture card device to stream through a PS5. The USB-C Multi Adapter is intended to provide an additional display with DP Alt Mode, multiple peripherals, Ethernet capabilities and Pass-through charge with PD. Thank you.

- Answer We do not recommend using a USB-C extension cable to the USB-C Multi Adapter. We cannot guarantee it will work with the j5create device. The adapter is a Plug n Play, which uses a computers hardware to function. Computers must support DisplayPort Mode and Power Delivery over USB-C. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Thank you.

- Answer You should be able to stream any Subscription based services, such as: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Now, and many others from your phone to an external display via HDMI port. However, please keep in mind that these services providers are protected by HDCP. Devices to cables to adapters to software drivers and displays, must all be HDCP compliant. Review online documentation for each device, or contact the equipment manufacturer for more information. Thank you.

QuestionThis does not work with a Lenovo Thinkvision monitor. I plug the usb-c into thinkvision and thinkvision won’t turn on.

- Answer Unfortunately, in our experience, we have been able to determine that the Apple Superdrive is not compatible with j5create USB adapters and hubs. Additionally, we have found that Apple advises against using USB hubs to connect the Apple Superdrive to Apple Mac computers.

QuestionWhen I connected my Dell XPS 13's power adapter through the JD383, I got a warning (symbol) indicating slow charging. Please let me me why this could happen. Does it not support power passthrough for this laptop. Rated power on the Dell adapter is 45W

- Answer The USB-C power-in provides pass-through charge to a computer that supports PD. With a power-brick of 45W, that may state the "indicating slow charging" because the power-brick is also providing power to the USB-A ports on the Multi Adapter. We recommend 65W or higher for pass-through charge.

QuestionCan I use a USB-C PD charger to power this hub, and also plug the hub in to a powered docking Docking Station with out causing damage.

- Answer We do not recommend daisy-chaining hubs as that setup may not work. The JCD383 is bus-powered (powered when connected to the computer). If your computer supports pass through charging via USB-C, yes that will charge your computer.

- Answer The JCD383 being a plug-and-play device will work fine as long as your Chromebook supports DP alt-mode/Thunderbolt 3; in the case where it does not, the HDMI will not work for you.

- Answer The JCD383 is covered by a 2 year manufacturer warranty. If the JCD383 is no longer working properly, we recommend contacting support on the casing to speak to a representative in order to troubleshoot and if needed offer an exchange.

- Answer The power cord that goes into the USB-C slot is a USB-C cable. I’m positive that the only Apple products that currently use USB-C port is the newer versions of MacBook. That’s the laptop.
