QuestionDisregarding the sync button on the back of the subwoofer. What's the other slot to insert what loooks like a aux cord. It says secondary pairing port above it. Look at the back of the subwoofer to know what I'm talking about

- Answer Hi! The small AUX port at the back of the subwoofer is used if you would like to update the firmware of the subwoofer, or if you would like to check the firmware version of the subwoofer.

QuestionI am thinking about using this system in an outdoor gazebo with an enclosed tv cabinet and the structure is totally covered, i.e., it wont get wet with rain, etc.Would this work for an outdoor environment?

- Answer Many years ago, JBL's were in almost every recording studio [plus Shure SM-58 mics, of course]. It was the 'gold standard' of sound reproduction. I had, recently, JBL's for my car system. Great! I think that with moisture protection [e.g. gazebo], you'll be VERY pleasantly surprised. I think the 'Brand' is still committed quality. I may buy these, also. Defective LG bar....unpleasant.

QuestionWhats the packing total size?

- Answer The box containing the soundbar is longer than the soundbar but protects the equipment well. It's a little awkward but has a handle to carry it. The box is shaped like the Letter L.

QuestionHave this connected via optical cable to a 4K lg tv. The sound works great when playing Xbox, during the match. When the game ends, the sound bar display reads “opt pcm” randomly and frequently. Is there a reason it’s doing this?

- Answer "Opt" means that you are using the optical cable. "PCM" is the digital decoder method, stands for Pulse Code Modulation. That is all.

- Answer I have the same problem and have been told that only the woofer that came with the sound bar is compatible. Even if it was to be a wired connection.

QuestionHello, I have lost my JBL 2.1 remote and the sub woofer decided to disconnect and now won’t connect? Any ideas? I’ve tried all the tricks on the net won’t connect? It connected straight away without remote when I first purchased. Thanks

- Answer The manual can be found online, and tells you how to manually pair the Subwoofer. (Press the button on the back of the subwoofer until it's blinking quickly, then hold down the "DIM" button on the remote for 5 seconds, then push the "plus" button and then the "minus" buttons for the bass volume. That should then show "done" or "connected", and it should then be paired/connected.

QuestionThe product pictures show a blue HDMI display/indicator light. Is that displayed at all times when connected via an HDMI cable?

- Answer The display only lights for a few seconds when you make changes so that you can see the settings, otherwise it is off (dark).

- Answer Thanks for reaching out. Let's try to troubleshoot the subwoofer from your JBL BAR 2.1 soundbar. Try playing something through your soundbar with the volume on the bass cranked up to the highest, loudest increment. Then, slowly decrease the level of bass until it completely goes out and notice the difference of the bass afterwards. Try this out; hopefully it works. - Answer Your TV must have either HDMI Out or HDMI ARC in order for the audio to be transmitted to the soundbar. If your TV only has HDMI Inputs, it would be best to use Optical cable instead.

- Answer -Press the wireless pairing button on the subwoofer until the light blinks fast -Get your soundbar remote and hold the DIM display for 5 seconds , let go of the Dim display on the 6th second, follow by a short press on the BASS + then BASS - in sequence. The front panel should show "PAIRING" -If the pairing succeeds, the LED indicator on the subwoofer will light up and the display will show that it's "DONE" or "CONNECTED" If that does not work, please submit a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

- Answer The legs of the subwoofer are non-detachable and removing these would void the warranty. The subwoofer's dimensions (W x H x D) are 8.9” x 8.9” x 14.6” (225 x 225 x 370mm).

QuestionCan you control this soundbar with a Logitech Harmony remote, or can it only be adjusted with the standard remote?

- Answer It will turn the soundbar on/off and change volume, but it will not change the inputs. The original JBL remote has you cycle inputs, and the harmony wants a button for each.
