Q: QuestionMy tv does not have an optical port and so I am trying to use the RCA to Aux cable to attach the 250 to my TV. I can't seem to get it to make any sound. The input is green and set to aux input. The bluetooth connection to my phone does work. Help!

• A:Answer I heard this complaint on other reviews. Please check Q&A against the Product support on JBL website. My subwoofer was not even getting paired, I took it back to Best Buy, they could pair it. Remote is ok, just remove the plastic from the battery

• A:Answer I would recommend connecting to the TV, after all if you decide to use any gaming systems or dvd player you will still receive the sound thru your sound bar

• A:Answer There is no wired connection for it. FWIW, I had a heck of a time connecting it because I'm colorblind so I couldn't see what color light was flashing when I needed to connect them initially. That was my biggest hurdle to the setup.

Q: QuestionWill this soundbar hook into my 42" Sanyo led tv? My tv does not have a digital optical jack. It has only a digital audio jack. It is a 3.5mm jack. Will the soundbar hook into the digital audio jack on my tv and does the soundbar have the 3.5 mm jack ?

• A:Answer It is highly unlikely that a 3.5mm port on a TV is a digital output. But if your TV does have a 3.5mm output jack, you can directly connect it to the SB 250's audio jack.

Q: QuestionI bought the jbl sb250 sound bar with sub woofer yesterday. The sub woofer keeps emitting popping/static noises. Its connected to Samsung TV via Bluetooth. How can i fix this or is it faulty? I'm not a tech head so a simple answer would be appreciated.

• A:Answer I bought the same product and had the same problems. Eventually, after five years, it made a very loud popping noise and as far as I can tell, it’s not working at all. The sound bar only works intermittently, so somethings wrong with that too.

Q: QuestionI set up my sound bar last night. Unfortunately, the audio and video do not sync. The "manual" is in microscopic print and I'm seeing nothing about how to adjust this. Is there a way to fix this issue or should I return the unit?

• A:Answer I'm responding to the response. I have the optical cable. I had the TV sound turned to zero. The sync issue is currently completely unacceptable. Unless there's a setting that I'm not seeing that will help correct this, I'll return the unit.

Q: QuestionI have recently got JBL SB250. I am satisfied with the sound quality but the subwoofer frequently making distortion pop up sounds. i tried placing the woofer in different locations still repeats the same and the room has no routers...Any inputs to resolve

• A:Answer Had same problem. Factory reset fixed it. Hold vol+ and surround button at same time, for about 5 sec. Then try pairing again.
