A:AnswerI don't think it would. I have a 30" doorway, and I took off the entire front of the fridge, all 5 doors, and it was a very tight fit. I don't think one less inch would work. IT measures just a tad under 29" without doors, but you have the power cord and a couple things that stick out the back. I'm thinking you'll need to remove trim pieces for this to fit.
A:AnswerI bought this unit in December 2022 and have had constant issues with the ice maker and cooling in the freezer throughout. Melty ice cream, etc. We see the leaking onto lower drawer also. Very disappointing for such an expensive unit. Advise everyone to just purchase the cheaper machines and not be so disappointed.

A:AnswerHi Cathy, if you will look at the images of this model with the doors both open, you will notice that the ice maker is located in the door. There is no need for a tray, as the ice will be dropping into the bucket inside of the door, and the whole process is contained there. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerHello! Thank you for your question. While the refrigerator can hold magnets, we do not recommend it. It can help adhere moisture to the surface of the unit and can cause staining.
A:AnswerUnfortunately the ice maker problem is well known. And, the lemon clause in the Geek service contract covers it but excludes ice maker problems from Lemon rules for replacement as opposed to other issues, such as the electronic control panel on the meat drawer. It will fail when water gets into it from the dispenser directly above it and the Geek squad contract does include that in the lemon rule and thank goodness they just replaced our 4 year old fridge due to that failure, but not the three ice maker repairs. My advice is to request that they replace the entire ice maker and not patch it for repair.
A:AnswerHI Momof2, If this is something that is missing from the appliance we would recommend to contact KitchenAid customer service to see if they can assist with getting this. We hope this helps.
