Q: QuestionFor 2ch stereo listening, how do these compare to the Polk XT60 or XT70 speakers? I will be pairing these with a 46 yr old Pioneer HPM100's. The Polk's have a freq range of 38h-40kh vs the Klips 38h-21kh. Which will give the fullest sound and range?

• A:Answer That is a bit of a difficult question. For the record, humans can detect sounds in a frequency range from about 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Frequencies above 12kHz may not be audible. Since these two models are very similar, it will ultimately come done to personal preference of tonality. Klipsch speakers tend to be a bit more crisp in the mid-high frequency range.

Q: QuestionDo I really need a subwoofer with these, or is the bass response and "punch" enough? I would normally add a sub regardless, but space is limited, especially to keep wires hidden. For reference, this system is normally used for tv shows and music. Thanks

• A:Answer The R-600F II have a wide frequency response (range) and a decent amount of bass response. It is typically recommended to pair speakers with a sub to get more deep bass response, but by no means is this required! These towers should sound great as a stand-alone setup.
