A:Answer I can verify that it runs, but with some caveats. Setting graphics to "fast", smooth lighting off, view bobbing off, clouds off, entity shadows off and particles decreased will yield between 11 and 20 FPS, depending on how many chunks are loading at any given time (and by the way, they take a while to load on this micro PC)... Nothing extraordinary, but it's playable at the very least. I was surprised to discover that this stick has a tiny fan inside to help keep things cool, but it seems to be no match for the Java/PC version of Minecraft.
The Windows 10 Edition App runs marginally better and is more geared towards this type of hardware.
One must keep in mind that this is basically the equivalent of a low-end PC tablet, but without the touch screen! It runs Windows 10 Home Edition (32-bit). The processor could execute a 64-bit instruction set, but with only 2GB of addressable RAM and 32GB of on-board SD storage (which almost half of that is consumed by the base OS install), there is no point in trying to run 64-bit Windows here as it would only slow things down. The graphics adapter is integrated Intel, so very very limited resources.
This PC stick is indeed a very nifty little toy and is an excellent candidate for turning any TV with HDMI into a "Windows based Smart TV", but it is strictly a light duty, one process at a time, web browsing, checking email, small project type of thing. I love it, but I would not want if this were my only PC.
