QuestionWhy would you sell a window air conditioner like the LG - 18,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner (white) Model: LW1816ER SKU: 5890352 and NOT INCLUDE the "Window Mounting Kit?" Then, adding insult to injury, you don't even say how to get one that matches up!

- Answer Included accessories for the ENERGY STAR® LG 18000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW1816ER are: 2 x Heatproof adhesive backed foam seals, a plain back Foam strip, 2 x PE adhesive backed Foam seals, a left and right frame guide with curtains on them, a drain joint pipe, 2 x Frame guides, a Window Locking bracket, 2 x Sill Brackets, 2 x Support Brackets, 12 x Type A screws, 7 x Type B screws, 5 x Type C screws, 2 x Type D screws, 2 x Carriage bolts and 4 x Lock Nuts which are all the accessories that you need for proper installation of this unit in an appropriately sized standard single-hung or double-hung window...^IFV

QuestionWhat type outlet does this require and why isn’t this listed in the specs? It’s pretty important

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® LG 18,000 BTU 230/208V Window Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LW1816ER must be plugged into a standard 250 V, 3-wire grounding receptacle rated at 15 amps. Fortunately, the plug on the dryer will not fit into a 110V receptacle since it does not have the same configuration. The plug has 2 horizontal blades over a round grounding pin as opposed to the 2 vertical blades over a grounding pin for a 110 V receptacle. ^CP

- Answer Regrettably, there isn't a picture available for the plug on the power cord for the LG 1000 Sq. Ft. 18,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW1816ER. The plug has a NEMA Configuration of 6-15P which is two horizontal blades over a D-shaped grounding pin. You can visit the support page for the air conditioner on our site at https://www.lg.com/us/support/products/documents/LW1816ER%20Spec%20Sheet.pdf and scroll down to the bottom right corner of the spec sheet to view a diagram of the outlet that the plug fits into to give you a visual aid for what the plug looks like...^IFV

QuestionHave this unit. How do I access the vent control? I see the piece of plastic but it's so far in where the louvers are I need pliers. That can't be right.
