To adjust the cooling speeds on your LG LW8024R Window Air Conditioner, you will need to ensure that the unit is not in Jet Mode or Auto Operation Mode, as these features can override your selected fan speed. Here's a quick guide to help: Turn off Jet Mode and Auto Operation Mode: These settings might be causing the compressor to cut off when you try to select the fan speed. After turning off those modes, you should be able to adjust the fan speed to Low (F1) or High (F2), and the compressor will continue to operate as expected.
