Q: Questionis delivery ann installation included
Asked by home.
- A:Answer Delivery and install were additional fees. I had them deliver it (an extra $60, but worth it for them to haul it, carry it in the house and down the steps to the basement) and the took out my old one and disposed of it. Very fast and efficient. I installed it myself as you just need to remove the shipping bolts, hook up the water and place your drain hose in the sink, and put it in place. But, not everyone is comfortable doing that themselves. Might be worth the expense to have them do it, if you choose. Right now, there are some very good deals at BB for 4th of July sales. that would probably cover the delivery and setup.

Q: QuestionWhat are the differences between the WM3470CW model and the WM3400CW model?
Asked by Marty.
- A:Answer Hi, Marty. Thanks for your question! Both the LG Washer (WM3470CW) model and the (WM3400CW) are great washing machines, but there are a few key differences: The WM3400CW features LG’s newer Inverter Direct Drive Motor, making it quieter, reducing vibrations, and lasting longer than the WM3470CW. Q: QuestionWhat is the depth of the washer at the base?
Asked by danielleivy.
- A:Answer Hi there, Danielleivy. Thanks for your question about the LG WM3470CM Front Load Washer. While the full product depth is listed as 33 1/8 inches, LG does not officially publish the depth at the base separately. However, based on the typical design of LG front load washers, the base depth is usually about 2 to 3 inches less than the overall depth due to the slightly curved or protruding door. So, the base depth is estimated to be approximately 30 to 31 inches. If you need this for precise installation, we recommend allowing at least an inch or two of clearance at the back for hoses and airflow. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wm3470cm-front-load-washer#pdp_specs If you'd like a more exact measurement, feel free to send us a message @LGUSSupport and we’ll be happy to confirm it for you directly. —Renzo

Q: QuestionHow high up does this machine fill with water. It doesn't seem like there is any water in it other than just making the clothes wet.
Asked by Mom.
- A:Answer Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Front Load Washer. We understand your inquiry regarding the water levels of this unit. High-efficiency washers are designed to use significantly less water by sensing the load weight and only using enough to saturate the clothes and perform the wash, so it is normal not to see a high pool of water. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-5-0-cu-ft-high-efficiency-stackable-front-load-washer-with-6motion-technology-white/JJ8VPZRCP7 For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. - A:Answer Hi, Charlie. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question about your LG Washer (WM3470CW) model. We understand you'd like to use the "Very Dry" cycle, and we're happy to guide you through that. Q: QuestionCan i Use a powder detergent? I have been using a liquid one and want to switch to powder?if so how much should I use ?
Asked by Mo.
- A:Answer Hello there, Mo. Thank you for reaching out about using powder detergent with your LG WM3470CW Front Load Washer. We understand the importance of using the right detergent for effective cleaning. Yes, you can absolutely use powder detergent with your washer. To do so, ensure you remove the liquid detergent cup from the main wash detergent compartment before adding powder detergent. This will allow the detergent to dispense correctly and prevent any clogging issues. For the correct amount, always follow the detergent manufacturer’s recommendations based on your load size and soil level. Be sure to use only high-efficiency (HE) powder detergent for optimal performance. Q: QuestionI have a LG 2009front loader on platform, will this fit?
Asked by Pedalstal.
- A:Answer Hi, there. Thank you for reaching out to us. To determine if the LG Washer (WM3470CW) model will fit on your 2009 front loader platform, we need to consider the specific dimensions of both the washer and the platform. The standard platform height is generally designed to fit most LG front-load washers, but it's important to ensure compatibility in terms of the dimensions and the weight capacity of the platform. We recommend measuring both your current platform and the new washer's dimensions, which are approximately 27" W x 30" D x 39" H. Q: QuestionThe specs in this listing says "High Efficiency: NO", but it says High-Efficiency in the name of the product. Can you confirm if it is High-Efficiency or not? Thank you.
Asked by hillj888.
- A:Answer Yes, This model is High Efficiency and regarded as Very high efficiency. It uses less water and energy, has ColdWash technology And the 6Motion technology uses up to 6 different wash motions to clean clothes and prolong the life of the materials. What it is NOT is Smart, to the tune of using an app to control it or program it, which I must say I was disappointed in. But that has been my only disappointment. Otherwise, it has been flawless in it's performance.

Q: Questionwill the new front loading lg wm3470cw fit on older lg pedestai
Asked by rusty.
- A:Answer Hi there, Rusty. Thank you for reaching out with your question. We understand your concern about fitting the LG WM3470CW Front Load Washer on an older LG pedestal. The LG WM3470CW is compatible with certain LG pedestals, but it’s important to ensure that the pedestal is specifically designed for the washer's dimensions. The recommended pedestals for the WM3470CW are the WDP6W pedestal and the LG Sidekick™ Pedestal Washer (WD300CW). If you are using an older pedestal, it may not align properly with the washer, as dimensions and designs can vary across different models. If you already have a pedestal, we recommend verifying the model number and checking if it is compatible with the WM3470CW.
