  • QuestionMy softener dispenser isn't draining properly. It leaves behind a liquid. How do I remove the dispenser drawer to clean it?

    • Answer Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern regarding the maintenance of your WM3470CM and the liquid remaining in the softener dispenser. To assist with the drainage, we recommend cleaning the dispenser drawer to remove any residue that may have accumulated over time. To remove the drawer, simply open it fully and then pull it out while pressing down on the [PUSH] button located in the center of the dispenser assembly. Once the drawer is removed, you can clean it and the various compartments using a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water to ensure all paths are clear. After cleaning, reassemble the parts and slide the drawer back into the unit.     • Answer The ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient / ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 5.0 cu. Ft. Mega Capacity Front Load Washer, Model # WM3470CW, cannot "be butted against the back wall when installing". To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose, and airflow, you need to allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. You will also need to be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances....^Ivan.

  • QuestionGood morning I purchased this unit and had it installed on Tuesday. When I run it through a empty spin cycle it is as smooth as possible but when you run a regular cycle with clothes when it is time to spin it vibrates violently it moved the unit 3 feet

The washer can be fully loaded, but the drum should not be tightly packed with items. The door of the washer must close easily. You should not press down on items while stacking them in the drum.
