Q: QuestionWe purchased this model last December (2023). It washes great and the capacity is fantastic, but the functionality of the dial to select the type of load you want is no longer functioning. Does this model have a 1 year manufacturer guarantee?

• A:Answer I am the person who submitted this question. I wanted to let whomever answered this question that their advice to view the troubleshooting link worked great. A simple unplugging of the wall outlet, followed by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then the pause button for 5 seconds, then plugging the wall outlet back in worked perfectly. Upon powering up again, the Dial now displayed all the available cycle options. Many thanks!

• A:Answer Yes, you can do a Rinse and Spin, or Spin Only with the LG 6500. However, those selections are not on the original cycle selection list. You have to add them to the cycle list using the main dial and a "add additional cycles" step. Once added, they are on the list. There are many other preset cycles that can be added as well.

Q: QuestionWhat size drain pan is recommended for WM6700HBA? I see the unit is 27" x 33.25" however, I assume that the depth of 33.25" is larger than the base of the unit as the door sticks out even when closed. Is 27x30 large enough for the base to sit in?

• A:Answer I'd suggest a 30" wide x 32" deep tray. My tray is also 2-3/4" tall. I didnt buy a pedestal for my unit so I raised my washer about 2.5" up (should I ever need to access the drain hose located at the lower left side of the front of the unit).

Q: QuestionJust bought this washer, was told I can use powder soap. Can I put in the dispenser? I also use downy unstoppables that go in the washer. If I can’t use the dispenser should I put the clothes in first or powder first? Thanks
