Also it must not be over 96 inches above the bottom of the washer to allow proper draining and aiso keep the drain hose out of the water level that is building during the drain cycle.
A:AnswerThis washer doesn't have a rinse only cycle however it does have a secondary function button on the right side of the control panel that is labled Delay Wash /rinse/spin. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to start rinse and spin. Don't start any cycle beforehand. This must be the only button pushed. A:AnswerYou can try using the tub clean cycle but note top load LG washers don't require the use of special cleaners. You can put up to one cup of bleach into the detergent recepticle and select the tub clean cycle. Don't put cloths in the washer during this cycle.
You can use commercial cleaners but you will be required to follow their cleaning insttuctions and note some require you to physically clean the tub that you can reach with your hands if you were removing scale deposits and with all commercial cleaners you will also be required to run a tub clean cycle without the cleaner before washing any cloths to clean out the cleaner residue. The last step is to always leave the lid up to allow the washer to dry fo at least 24 hours.
A:AnswerHaven't heard of any lids breaking. The lid is protected by hydraulics in the lid mechanism to not allow the lid to slam. If you let it go it floats down slowly onto the washer.
It is warranted for 1 year

A:AnswerThe front is appox 38 inches high. The tub is about 24 inches deep from the bottom of the door. So if you are vertically challenged or have short arms you may have issues reaching to the bottom of the tub. My wife is 5 ' 4" and she has commented she can barely reach the bottom.
A:AnswerThe lid locks once the wash cycle has begun. I had to open it about 20 seconds into the cycle, but had to hit the power button to turn it off, add what I forgot and restart the POWER, then hit START again.
