  • Questioninstalled in September 2024. The oven is not correct temperature above 350 degrees. I had it set to 375 it was over 400 A tech came out with a digital temperature gauge oven does run hot. Shouldn’t I be able to get the temperature I set? How do I fix?

    Asked by PatH.

    • Answer Hello there, Patruce. Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding your LG LSIL6332FE. We understand your situation and know how important it is for your oven to heat accurately to the set temperature for your cooking needs. Based on the details you’ve provided, we recommend a couple of troubleshooting steps to help address the temperature discrepancy you’re experiencing above 350°F. First, please ensure that the oven door is securely closed during operation and that the door gasket is intact. A proper seal can be critical for maintaining the correct internal temperature. Next, we suggest performing a power cycle by turning off the unit, unplugging it for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. This simple reset can sometimes help the temperature sensor recalibrate and deliver a more accurate reading. Additionally, if your model includes a temperature calibration feature as outlined in the user manual, we recommend checking and adjusting these settings to fine-tune the temperature control. Reviewing the calibration instructions can provide guidance on how to adjust the set temperature if necessary. These steps are based on LG’s official recommendations for optimal appliance performance. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsil6332fe-slide-in-induction-range#pdp_specs For further assistance and to explore additional solutions tailored to your situation, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. • QuestionCan you broil in the oven?

    Asked by Bruce.

    • Answer Hello, Bruce. The LG 6.3 cu. Ft. Smart Induction Slide-in Range with Convection and Air Fry, Model # LSIL6332FE, is designed for closed-door broiling. The door must be closed to set the Broil function. If the door is open, the Broil function cannot be set and "door" appears on the display. Close the door and reset the Broil function. If the door is opened during broiling, the broil burner turns off after five seconds. The broiler turns back on automatically once the door is closed. During normal broiler operation, it is normal for either element to cycle off intermittently...^Ivan.

  • QuestionWhat size breaker is required for this range?

    Asked by bikephotog.

    • Answer Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry regarding the breaker size for the LG LSIL6332FE slide-in induction range. We understand how important it is to ensure proper electrical requirements for your new appliance. This range requires a 40 Amp circuit breaker for standard operation. However, if you anticipate using all burners and the oven simultaneously—such as during large dinner parties or gatherings—we recommend considering a 50 Amp circuit breaker. This will provide additional capacity and help prevent any potential tripping of the breaker. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsil6332fe-slide-in-induction-range#pdp_specs If you have any further questions or need assistance with your installation, please feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to help! • QuestionI recently purchased this induction range. When I am using the oven in standard bake mode it sounds like the power is cycling on and off. Is this normal. Thanks in advance for an answer

    Asked by Patruce.

    • Answer Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and for choosing the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Slide-in Electric Induction Range with True Convection and Air Fry (Model #LSIL6332FE). We understand your concern about the sound you're hearing when using the oven in standard bake mode. What you're experiencing is normal; the oven's power cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature. This cycling helps ensure even baking throughout the cooking process. • QuestionThere is no bottom element. The result is that when I cook something like pizza, or cheesecake, it overcooks on the top and undercooks on the bottom. Tried lowering the racks and baking it further away from the top element, but this doesn’t help. Advice?

    Asked by Anne.

    • Answer As you have noted, the LG 6.3 cu. Ft. Smart Induction Slide-in Range with Convection and Air Fry, Model # LSIL6332FE does not have a bottom element. As with range ovens with True Convection, it is normal for the convection fan to operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle in the oven. This is to ensure even baking results. Your owner's manual recommends using rack position 2 for cheesecake and rack position 3 for pizza. When a convection oven is not baking the bottom of cakes or pizza well, it could be due to restricted airflow or a misalignment of the racks. As for the overcooking of the tops and undercooking of the bottom, you may need to re-calibrate your oven temperature using one of two methods outlined on page 26 under 'Calibrating the Oven Temperature' in your owner's manual...^Ivan.

  • QuestionInduction range LSIL6332FE, had for 1 week.Got new pots. It has a pinpoint dot decor on the glass top.The paint of those dots seems to be coming off, despite never dragging pans on it? Why and what to do about that? In a yr or 2, it’ll look terrible!

    Asked by ANNE.

    • Answer Hello there, Anne. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your situation regarding the issue with the pinpoint dot decor on the glass top of your LSIL6332FE induction range. The dots on the cooktop are part of the design and serve to improve the functionality of the induction cooking system, but they should not wear off so easily. It's possible that the dots could be reacting to certain cleaners or heat exposure. To maintain the integrity of the cooktop, we recommend using only a soft, non-abrasive cleaning cloth with a suitable cooktop cleaner (such as the LG Cooktop Cream/Cleaner) and avoiding harsh scrubbing with scouring pads. Make sure the cooktop has completely cooled before cleaning, as this can help preserve the design. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsil6332fe-slide-in-induction-range#pdp_specs If the issue persists, please reach out to us directly through a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you further.
