• A:Answer We just would set the time for the total amount. Half way through we would open the door, stopping the cooking, stir the chocolate, then close the door and push start. That should complete the remainder of the cooking time. If you need more time just use the +/- button on the from glass.

Q: QuestionCan the kitchen timer go at the same time as when you are heating something?

• A:Answer Yes, it works on mine. It has a different "tune" that plays when the timer is done (different from when the microwave has finished cooking). Both can run simultaneously on mine; I've done it with the timer having less time than the cooking and it does still go off and announce the timer is done.
