- Answer All this does is extend signal from your own router. This will not make the internet go faster. Think of it like this. You put larger gas tank in your car to go further but it doesn’t make a Chevy or Ford into a Ferrari.

- Answer No it won’t. Your speakers are Bluetooth. This is for extending wireless coverage from your router. Which is different than Bluetooth.

- Answer Hi. You may need to contact the manufacturer of your laptop to see if there's a compatibility issue with the router at your new house. However, the Linksys RE6300 range extender can extend the range up to 6,500 sq ft.

QuestionWill this improve upload as well as download speeds? My laptop is getting reasonable download speed when I check Speedtest, but the upload speeds are unusually slow. My office isn't far from the router, but there is a wall between the rooms.

- Answer Not likely to improve your upload speed. That problem is more likely to be on your ISP’s side. If the wall was the problem, it would impact download too. You should also defrag your PC upload can be slowed by a fragmented storage device on your end.

QuestionOur small retail gift shop is located in a mall. The mall has free wifi, we don't have access to the physical router, I can access the wifi signal at our store entrance but the signal drops about 5 feet away. Can this extender help?

- Answer Hi, DanL. The extender should work as long as there’s an active WiFi connection that it can connect to, however, there might be restrictions on the router settings, so we cannot fully guarantee.

- Answer Hi, samysat. The RE6300 extender will discover both networks. You can just connect it to whichever has a stronger and stable connection.

- Answer Hi, Presh. The Linksys RE6300 will help you extend your current network system. Thus, it does not support mesh system. Thus, if you wish to use the same system in your network while extending it, then you may check out this model, Linksys WHW0101P. The Linksys WHW0101P only works with Velop system.

- Answer Hi, whitewater1950. The RE6300 extender should work fine with your gateway, as long as there’s a wireless network that it can connect to. It will only extend the wireless coverage and shouldn’t cause any trouble with your existing network.
