- Answer The software helps you place it in the correct location. Ideally you will want to place it towards the front of the house before the signal gets weak and then the front of the house will be covered by the linksys. The software will show you the signal strength where you have it placed in an outlet and if it’s within a good signal range

- Answer It should work. Best Buy is great. If it doesn’t work you can return it. My router is upstairs and my dead zone is downstairs,the extender fix the dead zone.

- Answer Hi, Manita604. With your desired setup with the Linksys RE6300, theoretically, it will work. However, it will cut the bandwidth as the second range extender will get it from the first range extender. You may want to consider our Linksys Velop System as it will be good for your network coverage.

- Answer Hello, Drg. You can connect an Ethernet cable to the Linksys RE6300 from your existing router, and place it in your desired area. Also, it is recommended to position it in between your router and the area that doesn't have a wireless connection.
