Q: QuestionMy Macbook Pro (2021 M1 chip) doesn't have a USB A port to plug this into. I tried one using a USB A to USB C adaptor. The cam didn't turn on, & wasn't recognized on the Mac. I returned it to seller as defective. Is it compatible?

• A:Answer Hello MountainSufi, the 4K Pro webcam is compatible with your Mac as long as you're running macOS 10.10 or later. Also, for an adapter, you'll have to make sure it can support USB 3.1 or else it won't work. Lastly, depending on which platform you're using, make sure you select the webcam as your source of input in the Camera settings of your preferred platform. Q: QuestionWhen I opened the package, which shows model V-U0040 on the box, and model 960-001105 on a white sticker on the box, the unit itself is labeled V-U0040. Why does it show a different model number on the camera itself? Does V-U0040 = 960-001105?

• A:Answer Unfortunately, there is not a clear answer to this question. I called and spoke with Tech support, and the tech looked up my serial number, and said it was the "Brio 4K Ultra HD Webcam". The rep said it was normal for Logitech to have multiple part numbers for the same product. This is confusing at best.
