• A:Answer The only thing that comes with it is basic software / drivers on CD. The USB cable is permanently attached to the camera and the microphone is built in. So far after using it a few times I can say it gives a nice clean image and the microphone sounds really good for being a built in feature.

• A:Answer Followup report on Mac compatibility for those checking this later: I have macs running OS X Sierra and it connects and shows up right away in Photobooth. Camera-control apps on the App store like iGlasses can see it and alter the image, as well.

Q: QuestionDoes the camera focus mainly on the user (narrow angle) or is it more of a wide angle lens. I am looking for a webcam that does NOT provide a wide angle view of my home office/family room while I am on a zoom business call.

• A:Answer I don't know how to answer your question directly because I'm not sure what is considered wide angle. But I did just go on Zoom and I measured what I see in back of me. I see my face in the center but I can see approximately 68 inches across the background of my kitchen behind me. So almost 3 feet to the left and almost 3 feet to the right of the center of the screen. There may be some way to adjust that -- if you go to the Logitech website you could ask them and if the answer is you can't adjust it then you could ask them which of their webcams has the narrow angle that you want. Here is another idea--Have you tried using the virtual background feature of Zoom? Go to Settings and under that is Virtual Background. There you will see 7 fake backgrounds that you can use for free. (You can also add a picture of your own but I don't know how to do that.) I can't use it because although I have a good processor (Intel i7) I have only a 3rd generation chip and for i7 you need a 6th generation or better (or 4th generation if you have a green screen) in order to use the Virtual Background feature. If you don't know if your computer can handle it, just click on one of the 7 Virtual Background and either it will look great or you will see pixels all over and it won't work and you just go back to your plan screen. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionJust used the Logitech - HD Webcam C270 for the first time today. How does it clamp on/attach to my desktop computer? I unsuccessfully tried to clamp it on to the top of the computer screen. Do I need to buy an accessory for this purpose?

• A:Answer No need to buy an accessory to mount this to your monitor. Rest the webcam on the top and adjust/fold clamp in. It's not meant to be fit tight like a clip. Attached is a side view of how it sits on my monitor. It seems strange at first but it actually creates a tight fit.
