- Answer No you have to buy an adapter if u want to use the usb option it’s $20 at Best Buy and the keyboard connects automatically to the iPad so no charging is required. I love the keyboard

QuestionCan this be used as a case? I mean the keys won't damage the screen when closed?

- Answer I have a screen protector on my iPad and see no scratches or issues yet (it’s been a month and a half). I doubt the keys create any damage as there is not a rubbing or moving when closed, it just stays shut tightly. It feels like a case all by itself and pretty protected.

QuestionDoes the IPAD go in and out of the case easily so the IPAD can be used without the case? Will the IPAD fit and function properly with a silicone case on the back?

- Answer It may take a few seconds, but is relatively easy to take it out and put back in. It works wonderful with the case on and even the keyboard folded back which will not interfere with tablet functions (may be easier to just leave it in there and use it)

- Answer Hi Dundee, this case is for the newest version of iPad. Over the years Apple has changed the shape and location of buttons and the camera. The best way to find out what iPad you have is to go into Settings - General - About. On that screen it will telling you the model name and number. From there you can use that information to get an case that will fit your iPad

- Answer No, it only seems to come in the grey area (Oxford and Graphite) with only a shade difference I believe. Hope they come out with other colors. With my space gray ipad, the graphite fits perfectly color wise.

QuestionWould the pencil holder fit the apple pencil comfortably. In the picture, it had the logitech crayon.

- Answer It does. It is not too snug, so the best thing to do is when it is closed, leave the pencil on the charging slot with the flap folding the case closed. When using the ipad in tablet mode, keep the pencil within the flap insert and fold it over so that the pencil does not get knocked off the charging slot easily.

- Answer Hello Ellen, Please try disconnecting and reconnecting. Sometimes the Smart connector just does not catch right. If that still does not work, you may have received a defective unit. But this folio does come with a 1 year warranty through Logitech, so we can get that replaced for you!
