- Answer Yes, they need to be plugged into an outlet to work. But extension cords work great for outside and there is plenty of wire on the camera to place almost anywhere.

- Answer Hello, The stand can be adjusted for wall, ceiling or counter top mounting. If you are placing the camera on a table or shelf, it is recommended to secure it so that it does not fall over (if you did not want to secure it permanently with the screw kit, you can try heavy duty double sided tape etc.) Thanks, Lorex

QuestionWhat is the approximate unobstructed line-of sight-range the wireless cameras?also - 1. can system cameras be set differently for varying "snap-shot" scenarios, i.e., motion on camera one, every hour on camera two, every four hours on camera three, etc, or does one setting apply to all cameras? 2. What is the battery life of the wireless cameras?

- Answer The system can set the cameras differently. The cameras do not use battery. They require electrical outlets but no video cables.

- Answer Hello, Yes, the system will continue to record and perform all the regular functions (except for remote viewi). The Ethernet cable is only required for remote viewing on a computer or smartphone. Thanks, Lorex

- Answer Hello, The cameras image sensor reduces glare, but if there are very bright and dark parts to an image then the camera will adjust by darkening the image. Object clarity depends on the scene, the distance to the object, and the lighting conditions. The signal strength will affect the fluidity of the video stream. - Answer no their is no option for cloud storage but their is inbuild 500GB storage in and you can hook up additional hard disk as you need to buy one, Also its used DDNS for remote in access.

- Answer DVR Plug the 4 camera Video audio cables and that two wireless hub connect to two camera each wireless video audio transmission you need to hook this unit in middle of your house or location for four camera
