Questionjust changed out my LG refrigerator water filter. It is the correct model number and working fine but the 'change filter light' will not go out with a 3 or 5 sec press. The light did flash a few times after inserting the new filter but won't re-set.

- Answer My filter tends to last 3 to 6 months, but honestly it depends on whether you are on city water or on a well and how much water (300gal/filter) you use. I can notice when our rural well water sediment is build up in the filter because the water starts to slow down when filling a glass. That often happens before the time limit for the filter.
