• A:Answer It should work with the Sonos Arc or any other speaker that has mounting holes in the rear of the speaker. For other speakers (e.g. Sonos Beam) with mounting holes in the bottom, you will need to buy a wall bracket and attach the bracket to the tv mount first.

Q: QuestionThe vertical dimension of the mount is 25.3". Our available vertical joist space is 21" plus air space on the lower edge. Can the mount be satisfactorily fastened onto 21" or do we need to add wood to the wall to be used for fastening the mount? Thank you

• A:Answer Just installed 1 of 2 of these mounts I purchased last week, this was for a classroom. I was easily able to hit 3 studs with 16" centers with the wall plate. I ended up only using the 4 wood bolts provided. I would certainly say that you will fine in your situation that wall plate is about 50"-52" wide (without measuring)

• A:Answer YES you can install it anywhere you have studs on the wall. If we had installed it above our fireplace we would have been limited to a 55 inch TV. Instead, we purchased a 77 inch TV by placing the mantel mount on a wall that was the right distance from the viewing area. Some mounting hardware alternatives pull out and only swivel from side to side. We like the MantelMount because it ALSO pulls up and down. We actually have a love seat under ours, and in the "down" position it even clears the loveseat. If you hire Best Buy's Geek Squad to do the installation, be sure to request a team experienced with the MantelMount install specifically. Our first team did not install it right, but Best Buy was excellent at sending a second experienced team who installed it perfectly.
