QuestionDoes this or any other receiver come with an RF or Bluetooth remote instead of an IR remote? Looking to put into a cabinet. Thanks!

- Answer No, we only supply an IR remote. However, you can use our Android or iOS based App to control the unit over IP if you're connecting it to your network. If not, you can find a 3rd party RF remote that uses a powered IR extender so you can keep the AVR hidden.

QuestionI have turntable with a preamp. So I cannot use the Phono input. When I go into 'Input Assign' to change an input (CD, etc..) to 'Analog', then the TV will usually not display a picture, but I will sometimes hear sound.

- Answer That could be a negotiation issue with the TV's EDID. Try unplugging the HDMI output cable from the back of the AVR. (cable connecting AVR and TV) Leave the cable disconnected for this test and see if the turntable (CD source) audio cuts out at any point. If the audio cuts out or doesn't output with the TV connected, then the problem is EDID based. You can also try disabling the TV's CEC and Power Saving features to see if that changes the negotiation.

QuestionI have an SR5010 that I like a lot. One nitpick I have with it is that the OSD apparently doesn't work at res > 1080P, so the volume doesn't appear onscreen, and it switches to 1080P whenever I pull up the menus. Is that still the case with the SR5015?

- Answer With the 5010, make sure the resolution is set to Auto or 4K. At that point, the volume bar / OSD should be present when 1080p resolution is input to the 5010. If the AVR is passing through video (not processing / scaling it) then the OSD / volume bar will not overlay onto the video. If the video is processed / scaled, then the OSD info can overlay onto the video.

- Answer No, none of the AVRs designed for North America will work in a 220V application unless you use it with a step down power transformer.

QuestionIs this receiver affected by the bad chipset to where there is an audio lag running this through eARC with the Xbox Series X? I've seen that the majority of 2020 models have this issue. Don't want to lose 4k/120hz just to correct sound lag.

- Answer All of our current 8K models have an issue with specific 8K sources when trying to pass 4K/120 and 8K resolutions. There will be a fix for that coming in the near future. With that said, we've tested 4K/120 and 8K with the PS5 and the 8K Nvidia graphics cards. Those 8K devices are working fully with our 8K AVRs.

QuestionWill I have audio issues with the 2019 Sony A9G master tv using Arc HDMI with this model or do I need the 2019 - SR-5014 model that is only 4k HDMI Arc? I see the SR-5015 has both but not sure I understand fully please explain.

- Answer None of our AVRs have issues with ARC or eARC. The ARC audio transmission is fully dependent on the TV's ability to communicate that data and then the HDMI cable's ability to transfer that data. The AVR will use the "TV Audio" source when playing back ARC audio.

QuestionI have an old Sony ES 5.1 AVS that provides 2 speaker outputs A + B. Im using the B speakers to send audio to a Niles 6 channel speaker selector to play music in other rooms. Can I use the Zone 2 feature of the 5015 to provide audio to the Niles?

- Answer Yes, as long as the Niles selector switch matches the impedance. If not, then you will likely damage the AVR's amp channels being used for Zone 2.

- Answer You can set the assignment to Bi-Amp or Front B to duplicate the Front Channels from the Surround Backs. Front Height, Top Front or Front Dolby can be assigned for an Atmos configuration.

- Answer No, for an optical or dig coaxial input connection to output to Zone 2 (PCM based signals only) you will need our SR6015 model. The SR5015 does have an All Zone Stereo feature, which duplicates audio from the Main Zone out to Zone 2 via the Main Zone HDMI input connection.

- Answer Yes, you can use the manual Tone Control for basic Bass and Treble adjustment or the automatic Audyssey software for room correction. (Levels, Crossovers, EQ per channel)

- Answer from what i understand and i'm not saying i'm right , i could have everything backwards but i think all headphone and black and white jacks are analog out and most speakers need analog to move the cones back and forth for the sound. if you are asking this ? because your m33 speakers have an internal DAC it won't matter because the DAC will just change the signal from analog to digital and back again , so if i had to say 1 way or another your speakers will work .... hopefully lol. good luck.

- Answer I asked this question because my TV is 40 ft from my Marantz. If it was closer, of course I wouldn’t need an extender (duh). Being that far away, however, I need an extender that converts my HDMI signal to Ethernet and then back to HDMI at the TV.

- Answer In the 5015, the Subwoofer pre-out 2 is a mirror of the Subwoofer pre-out 1. In our SR6 Series (SR6015) the Audyssey software allows you to independently adjust Level per Subwoofer pre-out.
